Thermography

Thermography printingIn thermography, embossing powder made from plastic resins is applied to the paper. The area intended for raised printing is prepped with slow drying pigment inks without dryers or hardeners, allowing them to remain wet during the application of powder. The ink is dried and hardened during the heating process, leaving a nice tactile feel to the paper. This specialty printing technique is a modern alternative to the more expensive process of engraving, producing fine detail with great accuracy and professional results.
