Rag waste has longer fibers than those generally used in papermaking, producing paper with exceptional strength and durability. Other waste materials including silk waste, grass, hemp, straw and flower petals add texture to this exquisite handmade paper. Each sheet is finally richly colored and patterned with watercolors using designs that merge traditional art with more modern patterns.
