I fell in love with the JANEY hoodscarf the first time I saw it. That is why we are proud to feature the JANEY hoodscarf as our first ever Pop-Up shop artist. Come see this wonderfully Philly made hoodscarf in person. Avi, the founder of the hoodscarf will be at Casa Papel on Dec. 7th from 12 - 4 p.m. and you can purchase this hoodscarf. The following are some unique feature of this hoodscarf:
- The outside layer (and sometimes inside layer, too) of each JANEY is made out of previously-loved sweaters, upcycling something old into something new.
- Each JANEY is a one-of-a-kind wearable work of art, mimicking and encouraging the individuality of the wearer.
- JANEY hang tags and business cards are printed on 100% recycled, made-in-USA paper printed at Casa Papel in Philadlephia
- JANEY shopping bags are made out of 100% recycled paper. After you take your JANEY home, you are encouraged to reuse or recycle the shopping bag.
The Fall/Winter Philadelphia Wedding Magazine has done it again… another great cover-to-cover issue. Thanks to Carrie Denny for featuring us in the “How to” guide on navigating the world of specialty printing. We are truly honored and grateful for this wonderful full-page feature she asked our help with that also included images of our work. We can’t help but smile all day! So, pick up your copy of the Fall/Winter issue and check out page 60. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Gracias!
So what kind of printing method did I use on my own wedding invitation? One-color (grey) thermography with a blind embossed polka dot pattern around the border. Simple and elegant was our theme with a whole lot of fun!
Until next time,
These past few months we have been busy with the redesign of our website. We are incredibly excited to share this site and all the wonderful work we have been doing for our many wonderful clients. A special ‘shout out’ to the boys at thinkitfirst who designed and created the site. You guys are awesome!
So, what is this blog about? The blog will serve as a way to keep you updated in three different categories. Events will showcase recent happenings as well as events that are coming up that we are participating in or attending. What’s New, just as the title says, will inform you about what’s new at Casa Papel and beyond. We may share new merchandise or things in the stationery industry that we hope are readers will find interesting. Lastly, Show and Tell will give you visual inspiration from work we’ve done for our clients or paper goods that we love and what to share with you.
We understand how challenging it can be to find time to read with all the bombardment of information coming at you all the time. So, these blogs are intended to be short and sweet. We hope that you’ll come back when you need a little inspiration of beautiful design work.
So, let the adventure begin and invite you to come along on this wild ride.
